Grade 5 Music Theory Classes
Our Grade 5 Music Theory Classes are specially designed to give students secure knowledge and essential tools needed for passing the ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory exam, the prerequisite for ABRSM Practical or Performance Grade exams beyond Grade 5. Tuition is given in small groups.
You do not have to play a string instrument to sign up for a SFY Music Theory Class - all young musicians are welcome, whatever instrument you play!
Grade 5 Music Theory Classes take place in Orpington (Petts Wood) on Sundays at 10.15-11.00am and 12.45-1.45pm, or by arrangement depending on demand - please contact us for further details.
Fees are invoiced on a termly basis as follows (2024/25 academic year), depending on class size:
4 or more children - £120 per term
3 children - £150 per term
2 children - £220 per term
one-to-one - £350 per term
These classes are taught by Dominique Wells, an experienced music theory tutor with a pass rate of 100% (50% gaining distinction marks).
Strings for Youth music theory classes help students to pass the
ABRSM Grade 5 exam securely and efficiently.
